The weather at Lambeau Field was chaotic, swirling, and unfriendly. Because of it, the Packers and the Vikings did not attempt to thoroughly stretch the field through the air. Instead, the teams turned to short passing options and their running backs. On this November day, it was the Vikings that had the better-adjusted gameplan.

Dalvin Cook assaulted all levels of the Packers defense en route to a 28-22 win over the Packers. Rodgers, too, was quite effective. He dimed three touchdowns to no interceptions and 291 passing yards. Rodgers came up short with his frequent late-game heroics, but he played wonderfully as a standalone performance.

Green Bay falls to 5-2 on the season, good enough to keep hold of first place in the NFC North. Rodgers will next face an angry 49ers team that was just topped by its division foes, the Seahawks. This will not be easy for Rodgers — San Francisco has downed Rodgers six times in 10 career tries. In fact, the 49ers have beaten the Packers twice in the last two seasons. This will be the fourth consecutive year that the teams square off.
