Chicago Bulls: Michael Jordan

This was another no-brainer decision. The greatest player in the history of the sport was also the mightiest jumper for this franchise. Unlike his GOAT rival, LeBron James, Michael Jordan actually participated in a Dunk Contest in his career. He won back-to-back titles in 1987 and 1988 over Jerome Kersey and Dominique Wilkins, respectively.  This is also where Jordan debuted his infamous free throw line dunk which we see players such as Giannis Antetokounmpo showcase today.

As we all learned from watching “The Last Dance” documentary in April, Jordan was the ultimate competitor. Not only did he love to beat the best of the best, he wanted to demoralize them by any means possible. He did that the best way he could — by putting them on a poster.

Jordan was the complete package for a dunker: he knew when to explode towards the rim. He used his wingspan to elevate and get full extension to the basket. He displayed his creativity whenever he had space to do so. Best of all was when Jordan put this all together and completely humiliated defenders. The trash-talking and opponents knowing there was little they could do about it was the cherry on top.
