College football DFS wide receiver picks November 6:

Top Tier:

The price has gotten out of control on Dax Milne. I’d rather pay up for Bell or Wilson than pay this for him. Kobe Smith got nearly half the targets for the Aztecs last week. Give me that kind of guarantee instead.

As Nick Starkel goes, so goes Bailey Gaither. Gaither has 318 yards in just two games already. SDSU could make life miserable for Starkel, but I still think Gaither sees a huge amount of targets.

Tre Walker is more athletic than Gaither and he also had more targets last week. The difference is where Gaither caught 10 of 11, Walker only got 9 of 16. Most of the misses were on deep balls though, so Walker is the home run threat. That could be the key to getting a couple of scores on the SDSU defense.

Middle Tier:

It doesn’t matter who’s under center for Boise. Khalil Shakir is a strong play. He has 13 receptions, five carries, and a pair of touchdowns in two games. The Broncos are going to make sure he gets the ball no matter what.

I’m curious to see what Miami does in the passing game here. Mike Harley put up huge numbers with Brevin Jordan out. Now that Jordan’s back, I want to see how they handle this first. That said, Jordan feels too cheap at this price. He’s $1,200 less than Harley and my favorite piece of the Miami passing game based on price.

Emeke Emezie sees more targets with Hockman under center. The bad news is that Hockman doesn’t have a very good arm. Still, I like the volume for Emezie at this price. He’s the only chance the Wolfpack have at keeping this close.

Bargain Shoppers:

Isaiah Holiness is an interesting punt here. He’s listed as a receiver, but he has the second most carries on the team and is the leading rusher. Don’t get too excited. 49 yards leads the team, but the fact that the Spartans get him the ball so often is intriguing for a value pick.

Freshman Anthony Smith burst on the scene against rival North Carolina with Hockman under center. I don’t want too many pieces going after this Miami defense, but Smith is worth watching.
