Offensive Player of the Year Award Runners Up

player. 35. . Running Back. Tennessee Titans. Derrick Henry. 3

Stats: 7 Games: 775 rushing yards for 8 TDs + 10 receptions for 81 receiving yards.

Derrick Henry looks poised to win another rushing title. The only real threat to that is who comes in at #2 here. Henry continues to make defensive players look like toddlers. Most notably this season when he sent Josh Norman into the ground with his stiff arm. Henry is the heart and soul of this Titans team and boy is it fun to watch him ground and pound opposing defense.

2. player. 60. . Running Back. Minnesota Vikings. Dalvin Cook

Stats: 652 rushing yards, 14 receptions for 127 yards and 11 total touchdowns.

Despite missing a game, Cook leads the NFL in touchdowns with 11. It certainly helps when you have 4 in one game. Cook is back to being as explosive as ever. He is the only threat to Derrick Henry’s rushing crown. I put Cook slightly above Henry just because of his touchdowns and receiving game usage. Both of these players are tremendous talents, but they aren’t having as historic a season as the frontrunner for the Offensive Player of the Year Award…
