Most Valuable Player Award Winner

36. . Quarterback. Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson. 1. player

Stats: 7 Games: 71.5% completion for 2151 yards, 26 TDs & 6 INTs + 260 rushing yards.

This is a no-brainer. Russell Wilson, the player who has never received a single MVP vote, is the current favorite. It is going to take a huge collapse from Wilson. This feels like his award to lose. He’s on pace for well over 50 touchdowns which would be historic. Not to mention, his Seattle Seahawks are currently 6-1. He has carried this team on his back as their defense isn’t capable of stopping anyone. There aren’t many other quarterbacks you would prefer to have the ball in their hands at the end of the game with the game on the line than Russell Wilson. Also, it feels overdue.

Like I previously stated, he has never received an MVP vote. This just seems like his award to lose. Russell Wilson is regarded as a top 5 quarterback in this league. Mahomes and Brady both have already won the MVP award. They don’t like to give awards to players frequently unless they have no choice. The no brainer choice here is Russell Wilson. His Seahawks will continue to win games behind his performances. He will end up with a ridiculous number of touchdown passes. I hope he continues this pace because he makes all Seahawks games exciting to watch.
