Ryan Shazier is skeptical of Antonio Brown in Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers seem convinced that wide receiver Antonio Brown has turned over a new leaf, signing him to a cheap, no-risk deal that gets Tom Brady another perimeter target. While he’s stayed out of the news, not everyone is convinced that Brown has completely fixed his behavior, and one of his former teammates remains somewhat unconvinced.

Former Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, who played with AB for his entire career before his career-ending injury, claims that Brown is only concerned about attention on and off the field, and that ego could upset the apple cart with the Buccaneers.

Ryan Shazier knows exactly how destructive Antonio Brown can be

If Brown was able to keep his temper under control, there is a good chance he is still among the league leaders in receptions and receiving yards with the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, his trade demand in January kicked off a cycle that saw three different teams in the Steelers, Raiders, and Patriots all cut ties with him in a nine-month span. Considering the sexual assault accusations and assault charges, it’s easy to see why he was so radioactive.

While Brady and the Buccaneers as a whole have expressed ad infinitum that Brown is on his last chance and will be gone at the first sign of trouble, it’s clear that they think his exemplary talent will be able to outweigh the myriad of problems he could cause. Shazier has seen Brown explode before, and he’s just hoping both Brown himself and the franchise doa. good job in controlling his outbursts.

If Brown keeps his head on straight, he could be a deadly new weapon for Tampa Bay. However, Brown has blown up in Pittsburgh, Oakland, and New England, so Tampa Bay is by no means guaranteed to work out for him.
