18. team. 54. . 3-4-1. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles

No team has repeated as NFC East champion since Andy Reid’s Eagles won four straight division titles from 2001-04. And despite being a game under .500, the Birds own the top spot over their NFC East neighbors, each who only have two wins apiece. Doug Pederson’s club is starting to get a little healthier and won its last two games before the off week. But who can cure quarterback Carson Wentz’s penchant for miscues via 16 turnovers in eight games?

. 3-6. Previous: . Carolina Panthers. 17. team. 87

Matt Rhule’s club made its way to the home of the defending Super Bowl champions. And the upstart Panthers gave the Chiefs all they could handle. Carolina owned a 14-3 second quarter lead but really had no answers for Patrick Mahomes, who riddled the Panthers’ defense for 372 yards and four TDs. Christian McCaffrey made his return, touched the ball 28 times and finished with 151 total yards from scrimmage and two scores in the defeat.

57. . 5-4. Previous: . Chicago Bears. 16. team

Losers of two straight games, the Bears made their way south to Nashville to take on the Titans. The Chicago offense actually wound up with 375 total yards and won the time of possession battle. But Matt Nagy’s team was also 2-of-15 on third-down conversion attempts, ran for only 56 yards and committed two turnovers. The Bears’ defense limited the Titans to just 228 total yards and registered three sacks but failed to take away the football.
