Baltimore Ravens. 6. team. 26. . 6-2. Previous:

It’s still somewhat amusing to hear “Baltimore visits Colts” but there was a battle of 5-2 teams at Indianapolis. Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson struggled in last week’s loss to the Steelers and he got some help as the team activated veteran wideout Dez Bryant from the practice squad (via Jamison Hensley of ESPN). He did not catch a pass and Baltimore managed only 266 total yards but the Ravens’ defense stifled the Colts on third down all day.

The NFC West frontrunners were back on the east coast and faced their third AFC East foe of the season when they took on the Bills. Russell Wilson had already thrown 26 TD passes in the team’s first seven games and finished this game with 390 yards through the air and two more scores. But he was also picked off twice as the Seahawks fell behind 17-0 early in the second quarter and spent the afternoon trying to play catch-up and without any success.

Winners of four straight games entering their prime time clash in Tampa, the Saints were in position to sweep the Buccaneers for the second consecutive year. And Drew Brees and company were dominant early on, opening up a 31-0 halftime lead and outgaining their hosts in total yardage, 283-105. Drew Brees would hit on 26-of-32 passes for 222 yards and four scores. And the much-maligned New Orleans’ defense picked off Tom Brady three times.
