College football DFS running back picks November 10:

Top Tier:

To the surprise of literally no one, Jaret Patterson was a beast in the opener. Despite Miami having a decent defense, I still trust Patterson. He ran for 183 and a touchdown against the Redhawks last year.

I do expect another good performance from De’Montre Tuggle, but his game last week was boosted by a kick return touchdown. He’s still in a timeshare, but both will get plenty of work against the Zips.

Middle Tier:

Much of the DFS world was on Davion Johnson last week. He had a solid outing, but he was outdone by Zach Kahn. I prefer Johnson because he’s really cheap and the Buffalo defense is solid.

Akron rode Teon Dollard despite no running holes and being blown out. That means Dollard has a high floor even though the Zips have no chance in this one. It didn’t hurt that Dollard also caught four passes.

Bargain Shoppers:

The Kent RB situation is a mess, but Xavier Williams is the big play guy. Cooper and Bradford will both get carries, and honestly I can’t really argue against any of them in a matchup like this. Kent is going to roll the Falcons. There will be plenty of scores to go around.

We know how high the ceiling is on Kevin Marks, but we saw the floor in the opener. For that reason, Trevon Raymore may be a better pick in this tier. Andrew Clair is still banged up and Raymore had a nice second half despite the Falcons having no chance.
