DraftKings Masters picks: $6,000 range

Marc Leishman ($6,900) – The $6,000 range is slim-pickin’s so it’s no surprise that Leishman has struggled since the restart. While that may be true, the big Australian has two top-10 finishes on his résume at Augusta. You can’t discount the possibility of a familiar place offering reprieve.

Si Woo Kim ($6,800) – In the realm of taking gambles, Kim fits the bill. He has the potential to top-10 at The Masters if he has all parts of his game working at full capacity. He also has the potential to miss the cut. Put him in your lineup at your own risk.

Zach Johnson ($6,800) – Despite being a past winner, I’m not giving Johnson too much win equity this week. Even still, he’s a steady player with great iron play and a lethal putter. That could make him safe value at this price.

Sebastian Munoz ($6,700) – How do you not like Munoz in this spot? The guy has four straight top-25 finishes and has finished there in seven out of his late eight tournaments. He may not have a real shot at winning but he could give you a valuable top 25 at this price.

Francesco Molinari ($6,700) – Molinari is at this price largely because he’s been MIA since the restart, playing just twice. But he was T15 in Houston last week and, if you remember, was in the mix to win The Masters last year. Could that form return this week? At this price, there are worse bets to make.

Corey Conners ($6,600) – Low-key, Conners is one of the best iron players in the world, which is going to be critical, as always, at Augusta. He should be a cut-maker this week but, if his putter is even just respectable, he could pop.

Lanto Griffin ($6,600) – You won’t find many people calling Griffin the most complete player but he’s a long-hitter that could take advantage of that at Augusta. If his irons are on and his putter is just average, he at least has the possibility of making noise this week.

Adam Hadwin ($6,500) – If you need to start scraping the bottom of the barrel, Hadwin isn’t a bad play. He’s a cut-maker who has upside and also finished T24 at Augusta in 2018. You could do a lot worse at $6,500.

Charles Howell III ($6,400) – Howell hasn’t been inside the top 30 since July, so the recent form is nothing to write home about. Even still, the former Georgia Tech standout has an elite short game that could allow him to somewhat pop this week. A gamble but, again, not a terrible one.

J.T. Poston ($6,300) – At least in theory, Poston has the game to pop at The Masters. His irons and putter are his weapons, they just haven’t been at full force lately. Is that worth the risk of him in your DraftKings lineup? That’s a choice for you to make.
