Newton has no help around him, and at this stage of his career, he’s hopeless without it. The Patriots took a small gamble on Newton finding his renaissance, and it appears he won’t be finding one.

Tagovailoa moves up eight spots! Some of this is bad play on the back quarter of the rankings, but the Dolphins’ youngster was excellent against the Cardinals, moving Miami down the field consistently with his arm and legs, and look at this chart. Great depth on the targets. After a rough debut, it was very impressive.
2020 stats: 1,760 yards | 58.6 completion % | 10 TDs | 10 INTs | 6.3 YPA | 50.3 QBR

Wentz had a bye week to relax, rest up and get healthier (both he and his weapons). Now, the Giants lurk in what somehow is a very meaningful game. The Eagles need Wentz at his best going forward if they want to make any noise at all.
2020 stats: 1,514 yards | 61.4 completion % | 15 TDs | 7 INTs | 6.8 YPA | 73.1 QBR

Mayfield should have an enormous week. The Browns are off a bye, Nick Chubb was activated off IR and could play Sunday, and Cleveland is at home against the Texans. Have you see Houston’s defense? If Mayfield doesn’t have a great day, it’s very concerning.
2020 stats: 1,855 yards | 65.6 completion % | 15 TDs | 10 INTs | 8.9 YPA | 58.0 QBR

Cousins has quietly played much better the past few weeks, finally getting some distance between his touchdowns and interceptions. Also, he’s averaging 8.9 YPA, which is due partly to hitting a few deep balls, but also great weapons. Just play point guard.
2020 stats: 2,127 yards | 62.6 completion % | 14 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.7 YPA | 64.6 QBR

Stafford still makes the great throws we’ve gotten accustomed to. However, the interceptions — which he’s always thrown — are becoming more frequent and problematic. Also, look at this chart and find the big plays. Detroit likely makes wholesale changes at season’s end, and Stafford is a good bet to be among them.
