College football DFS running back picks November 13:

Top Tier:

If you have read any of my stuff over the last several years, you know that I’m a huge fan of Mohamed Ibrahim. I like the way he runs. I’m still not playing this ridiculous price for him though. He’s $800 more than Ridder. Ridder looks like a lock for 40. Do you really think Ibrahim is going for 45 on Iowa? No chance in hell. Let someone else pay for him. Ibrahim is too expensive on this slate.

Middle Tier:

Especially when your consolation prize is Gerrid Doaks against ECU. The Pirates have been solid against the run, but I still see Doaks flirting with 20 DraftKings points here.

Iowa will run a few backs, but none are as good as Tyler Goodson. Minnesota’s run defense is among the worst in the nation and they have played a game against Illinois. Iowa loves to run and has a game manager at quarterback. Goodson could be in for a monster here.

Bargain Shoppers:

Florida Atlantic has said that Malcolm Davidson will play and this is a really good matchup for him. The Owls offense was stagnant without Davidson last week. His running ability should open up this FAU offense a little. I don’t see a monster from Davidson, but he could get close to 20. That’s a nice bargain for the price.

Minnesota’s run defense is bad and Mekhi Sargent is a poacher. He has three touchdowns on just 24 carries this year. The chances of him finding paydirt against the Gophers’ sad defense is probably better than 50/50. I’ll take those odds.
