Tiger Woods gets emotional discussing the impact The Masters had on him (Video)
Getting ready to try and capture the green jacket once again, Tiger Woods discussing what The Masters means to him and getting emotional is amazing to see.
Entering The Masters this weekend, Tiger Woods is looking to take home the green jacket for a mind-blowing sixth time. No one loves heading to Augusta more than Woods, who time and time again shows us why he’ll go down as one of the best golfers of all time.
With his five victories, you already know this tournament means an incredible amount to him. Well, in case you needed further proof of that, Woods going on camera to discuss The Masters and getting emotional about it is something golf fans will love to see.
Tiger Woods describing what The Masters means to him is emotional
If you’re getting a bit emotional yourself watching that video, no one is going to blame you. Everyone can understand why The Masters means so much to Woods. Between his close relationship with his dad, having his family support him and then being able to come back and win the tourney in 2019, it’s of course going to make him feel nostalgic.
As he wiped away tears in the video above, that just tells you that as much as some of the lows have sucked, the highest of highs are among his best memories as a pro. Now, Woods will shift his focus to getting ready for what’s ahead, and that’s trying to go back-to-back.
While that seems like an impossible task, he already did that once by winning The Masters in 2001 and 2002. The odds may not be in his favor, but anyone doubting Woods to pull off this kind of magic would be a fool to do so.
