NFL DFS Bargain Bin: Week 10 Sunday Slates Tight Ends

Evan Engram, NYG vs. PHI ($4,500-DK/$5,600-FD)

Engram finally scored his first receiving touchdown of 2020 in Week 9 against the Washington Football Team, and he’s now seen either nine or 10 targets in three straight games. The athletic pass catcher has a solid 16-155-1 line over that span and sets up well for success again in a Week 10 matchup against an Eagles team that’s been exposed by tight ends throughout the season.

Philadelphia has given up a 49-476-5 line to the position over eight contests, those numbers having been generated with the aid of an elevated 80.3 percent catch rate. Those figures currently equate to 17.0 DK/13.4 FD points per game allowed to tight ends, with Engram’s 6-46 line on nine targets versus the Eagles in Week 7 across 50 snaps factored into Philly’s poor metrics versus the position. Engram should once again see a solid level of involvement in the rematch, giving him a strong chance of offering a rewarding return on his very affordable salaries.

Eric Ebron, PIT vs. CIN ($4,400-DK/$5,400-FD)

Ebron makes his second consecutive appearance in this space after coming through in Week 9 with a touchdown reception on three total catches against the Cowboys. Ebron’s price has actually dipped $100 on DK and has held steady on FD compared to last week, so he remains an excellent option versus a Bengals team that’s been  highly vulnerable to the position all season — Cincinnati is ranked in the bottom 10 or the bottom five in receptions (49), receiving yards (545), receiving touchdowns (six), DK points (17.7) and FD points (14.7)  allowed to tight ends, the latter two figures tabulated on a per-game basis.

Then, the Bengals are giving up the second-highest red-zone TD scoring percentage of any road team (84.6), while Ebron has continued serve in a typically active role in that area of the field during his first Steelers campaign. The veteran has seen nine targets from the 20-yard line in over eight games, recording all three of his receiving TDs this year in the red zone as part of the sample.
