P. Diddy showed off his diving skills on TikTok and it’s hilariously clear he needs some work.

P. Diddy is one of the most successful musicians of all time. His talents, however, do not extend to the swimming pool.

On Friday, the Grammy Award-winner posted a TikTok of his attempt to dive and it didn’t go well at all.

What’s the best part of that video?

He adjusts his goggles like a pro. He even takes a deep breath to steady himself as you’d see from Michael Phelps. Of course, that’s where the comparison ends, very thoroughly.

Diddy dives like someone who regrets the decision to ever leap. He kicks his left leg out to meet the water as though he can kickoff and spare himself the face full of water. (Spoiler: He got a face full of water.) He creates as much splash as someone doing a cannonball.

It’s just a glorious fail.

P. Diddy has the last laugh despite his comical dive

As funny as that dive was, P. Diddy definitely is winning in other ways. His Instagram shows him hanging out with his family while he posted more diving videos to his Instagram story.

It’s not that he got any better, for the record, but he sure looked happy.

“Love is happy,” he said in one clip before pointing at the camera and adding. “Hope you happy too.”

Diddy, who just celebrated his 51st birthday back on Nov. 4, has been just as fed up with 2020 as everyone else.

Once things with the coronavirus get under control, maybe he could benefit from a day of training with Michael Phelps or someone who knows the correct way to dive. Until then, Diddy can keep living his best life even with terrible form.
