8. Kalen Ballage (LAC)

Game: Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 11/15, 4:05 pm EST)

Justin Jackson was supposed to be the temporary heir apparent to Austin Ekeler. Now Jackson is hurt, too. Up next, Joshua Kelley? Not so fast. Kalen Ballage has bounced around the NFL frequently in his young career, three teams in three years. He will get a few weeks to audition his talents in the absence of Ekeler and Jackson. Miami gives up 17.4 PPR points per game, and Ballage is an astute complement to an upstart rookie quarterback, Justin Herbert.

9. Phillip Lindsay (DEN)

Game: Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday, 11/15, 4:05 pm EST)

Melvin Gordon receives most of the touches, but Lindsay is a damn productive RB2 when healthy. He was actually supposed to be an RB1 before the team acquired Gordon, so Lindsay has the tools to be a 1,000-yard back all by his lonesome. Opposing running backs collective score 21 PPR points per game vs. the Raiders. Gordon and Lindsay should both have respectable days in Sin City.

10. Salvon Ahmed (MIA)

Game: Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 11/15, 4:05 pm EST)

Who? He’s a 21-year-old undrafted rookie from the University of Washington. Out of nowhere, the Dolphins afforded Ahmed some touches last week. Also out-of-nowhere running back, Myles Gaskin, is on injured reserve. Miami will hence distribute the carries to a litany of tailbacks. Ahmed is one of them. He was given seven touches in the Dolphins victory over the Cardinals. It’s a longshot, but let’s swing for the fences with Salvon Ahmed.
