Fantasy football: FanDuel NFL 2020 best lineup for Week 11
By Nick Villano
Tight End: Hayden Hurst $5,500
Tight end was awful last week. Hunter Henry and Rob Gronkowski were the two players to do anything, and they only had 13 and 11 points. Tight end should not stress fantasy players too much since nobody is really getting a lot from the position. As long as it doesn’t hurt you (like T.J. Hockenson and Jared Cook did last week).
This week, the tight end position is an even bigger shot in the dark with Gronk and Travis Kelce off the board. The most expensive option is Mark Andrews. He hasn’t had 10 points in a game since October 11th. The aforementioned Cook and Hockenson come right after him, and they killed owners last week.
This week, go for cheaper options. Jonnu Smith is an interesting option with the Titans, but Hayden Hurst seems just a little safer. He led all Falcons in targets the last time they played. He’s getting more and more involved in the offense.
The Falcons are taking on a Saints team that allowed Colin Thompson to score on his first ever reception. Hurst has plenty of receptions in his past, but he could use more touchdowns.
The Saints have allowed touchdowns to tight ends in six of their first nine games. They were actually really good at stopping targets to the tight end against the Bucs two weeks ago, but that seemed like a problem with Tom Brady throwing in bad positions.
Hurst can take advantage of this defense that will be focused on stopping Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley.
Other Options: Smith $5,800, Dalton Schultz $5,000
