1. Michael Thomas proves why you spent a first-round pick on him

Thomas’ 2020 campaign has been ultra-frustrating for fantasy managers mainly because of injury. The NFL’s all-time single-season reception leader finally found his way back to the field a couple of weeks ago, but the production thereafter has been puny.

In Week 10, caught two passes for 27 yards in the Saints romp over the beleaguered San Francisco 49ers. Signal-caller Drew Brees was injured, and the rest of the way did not fare well for Thomas. But again, it will not be scrutinized by national punditry as New Orleans took care of business and spanked the 49ers.

Against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11, Thomas will bust out and put up some lofty numbers — no matter the quarterback. It may be Brees, Jameis Winson, Taysom Hill or a combination thereof, but Thomas will get on track.

The Falcons are one of the worst teams in the NFL in surrendering points to wide receivers. Ordinarily, Thomas is one of the best pass-catchers in all of the land, so this relationship will be a healthy one for Thomas.

Although this is a rivalry game and the Falcons can sneak up on teams, New Orleans will win and Thomas will play a significant role.
