Philadelphia Eagles (3-5-1) at Cleveland Browns (6-3), 1:00 pm

Eagles: Lost in Carson Wentz’s issues with turnovers has been the inability of a usually-staunch Eagles’ defensive unit to consistently stop the run. A year ago, only three teams in the league allowed fewer yards per game than the Birds. It’s been a much different story this season for the Birds and the NFL’s 26th-ranked rushing defense.

Browns: Kevin Stefanski’s team will play its third consecutive home game. The Browns are 2-0 vs. the NFC East this season. Running back Nick Chubb (126 yards, 1 touchdown) wasn’t alone when it came to a big outing vs. Houston. Kareem Hunt finished with 104 yards rushing in the team’s win. Cleveland ranks fourth in the NFL in rushing.

New England Patriots (4-5) at Houston Texans (2-7), 1:00 pm

Patriots: Back-to-back prime time wins over the Jets and Ravens have the club within a victory of the .500 mark. New England’s offense produced a combined six touchdowns in those victories and the Pats played turnover-free football in each outing. In the team’s previous four games, all losses, New England gave up the football 12 times.

Texans: The defending AFC South champions have won just twice this season and no doubt the visiting Patriots will look to exploit Houston’s bottom-ranked run defense on Sunday. But can the Texans and the second-worst running game in the league have any success against a New England defensive unit ranked 24th in the NFL against the run?
