Well, it’s clear the season is done for Joe Burrow in Cincinnati  after his tweet.

Fans of the Cincinnati Bengals won’t have to wait long to find out if Joe Burrow will be set to play again in 2020. Instead, he’ll just tell you himself.

Less than an hour after being carted off the field, Burrow took to Twitter to tell his fans that his year was done. The rookie quarterback took a shot from a pair of Washington defenders and left during the third quarter.

However, he did leave a message for those wondering on his future. Best watch out for him in 2021.

Hopeful successful offseason for Joe Burrow

Burrow has been a spectacle for Who Dey Nation this season in passing. With five 300-yard games, it’s clear the team has found their answer under center. Barring any setbacks, Burrow still has a chance to be the next great quarterback in the league for years to come.

Through 10 games, Burrow threw for 2,485 yards with 12 touchdowns against five interceptions. Considering what he was working with, and factoring in his youth, not a bad start at all.

For now, can the Bengals just get him an offensive line?

Cincinnati needs to use both draft capital and dollars in free agency to build against this every happening again. The Bengals are going to likely have a top-five pick and will have more than enough cap space to make competitive offers to anybody they chose to target.

Next. Patrick Mahomes wishes Joe Burrow the best. dark
