Washington Football Team. 3. player. Scouting Report. NFC. East. 58. Pick Analysis

The only thing that compares to being as bad as the team’s name is their receiving corps. In two short years, Terry McLaurin has developed himself into one of the prime young stars at the position that’s to his smooth route-running skills. Outside of him, everyone deserves to be on the chopping block in that room.

No matter who’s been playing under center, they cannot build a connection with any receiving target. The next best receiver in Landover currently is Cam Sims, who currently has 11 receptions against McLaurin’s 57. Outside of the second-year receiver and tight end Logan Thomas, the passing attack has only three combined touchdowns.

Washington is going to get their quarterback either through the draft or free agency, but he’ll need weapons to be successful. With a star-studded defense mostly still on their rookie contracts, Ron Rivera and Dan Snyder need to build an offense that will be effective enough to compete for a division title. Smith-Schuster and McLaurin easily combine to give the team with no name the second-best wide receiver combination in the division for several years to come.
