Russell Wilson finally got a notification on Twitter courtesy of DK Metcalf.

Russell Wilson is playing like an MVP for the Seattle Seahawks and has the luxury of throwing to DK Metcalf on a weekly basis. Metcalf leads the Seahawks with 862 receiving yards yards and nine touchdowns.

The dynamic duo is a main reason why the Seahawks are Super Bowl contenders and it appears they have great chemistry. Well, it turns out that chemistry was not replicated on Twitter until Sunday.

Wilson gets the follow from Metcalf

Wilson calling out his receiver is hilarious and Metcalf was able to respond in a fun manner as well.

Following his quarterback on Twitter may have just slipped his mind. The two already work together on a daily basis so it’s not like Metcalf is going to be stalking Wilson’s Twitter feed. He may want a break from Wilson’s words at times.

Metcalf is one of the best stories in the NFL this season. He somehow slid into the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft and was snagged by the Seahawks. 2019 saw the physical force of a receiver finish with 900 yards and seven touchdowns on 58 receptions. He is now on pace to shatter all those marks as he has set himself apart as Wilson’s most dominant receiver.

There is plenty of humor in the image of Wilson getting the notification that Metcalf followed him back. Perhaps he thought it was a fake account at first, only to realize it was the real deal.

Next. 3 QBs that played like they should be benched in Week 11. dark

The Seahawks are winning and there are plenty of reasons to celebrate. All the good vibes allow for jokes to me made and appreciated at this point in the season. What fans do know is there appear to be no cracks in the Wilson-Metcalf connection.
