The Saints would be without quarterback Drew Brees and Taysom Hill would make his first NFL start when the club hosted the rival Atlanta Falcons.

Sean Payton’s first-place team brought a six-game winning streak into this tilt and would play another stellar defensive game as they held the Falcons out of the end zone all afternoon. The Saints sacked Matt Ryan eight times. Meanwhile, Hill ran for 51 yards and two touchdowns and also threw for 233 yards.

The AFC North leaders looked to run their record to 10-0 when they clashed with the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Mike Tomlin’s team spotted the home team a 3-0 lead and then responded with 27 unanswered points.

Veteran Ben Roethlisberger was not sacked and threw for 267 yards and two scores (1 interception). The Pittsburgh defense only sacked rookie Jake Luton twice, but safeties Terrell Edmunds and Minkah Fitzpatrick each had a pair of picks.

Previous: . Kansas City Chiefs. 1. team. 124. . 9-1

The last time the Chiefs were swept by the Raiders was 2012, one year before Andy Reid’s arrival in Kansas City. The clubs squared off in Las Vegas on Sunday evening and it was another shootout between the clubs.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense rolled up 460 total yards by game’s end. And down by three in the closing minutes, Reid’s club drove 75 yards in seven plays and Mahomes to Travis Kelce gave the Chiefs a little revenge.
