Davante Adams – Green Bay Packers

Adams’ participation in the Packers’ Week 11 clash with the Indianapolis Colts had looked in doubt earlier in the week because of an ankle injury. However, he battled through it and produced his expected significant impact in a thrilling back-and-forth contest that saw the Colts prevail in overtime.

The Colts’ impressive pass defense did its best to keep Adams in check but Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target still caught seven of the eight passes thrown in his direction for 106 yards and a touchdown.

That performance earned him 23.6 points in points per reception scoring, 10th among all players in that format through Sunday.

Adams is matchup proof; he has double-digit fantasy points in all but one of his eight appearances this season and leads all wide receivers in points despite missing two games through injury.

There is little reason to expect him to regress down the stretch. He is arguably the league’s premier route-runner and has a tremendous rapport with Rodgers, who has targeted him 89 times this season. Sunday’s loss was only the second game in 2020 in which Rodgers has thrown to Adams fewer than 10 times.

Though there are signs of Rodgers beginning to trust Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Adams will be the one he continues to look to as the Packers fight for seeding in the NFC. That will likely mean plenty more monster days for Adams during the stretch run.
