Justin Herbert. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 7. player. 13. Los Angeles Chargers

2020 stats: 2,699 yards | 68.0 completion % | 22 TDs | 6 INTs | 7.7 YPA | 72.0 QBR

Last Week: 9

Yes, it was the Jets. Yes, Herbert largely threw short. Still, 366 yards and three touchdowns is something to be thrilled about, especially for a rookie. Herbert has the look of a truly special quarterback for the next 15+ years in this league.

QB. Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr. player. 28. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 6

2020 stats: 2,431 yards | 69.7 completion % | 19 TDs | 3 INTs | 7.7 YPA | 79.1 QBR

Last Week: 8

Give Carr his due. He was tremendous for the second time this season against the Chiefs, earning a split of the games while going throw-for-throw with Patrick Mahomes. While he almost won the MVP award in 2016, this is Carr’s finest season. He appears to also have his best football ahead of him.

Josh Allen. 5. player. Pick Analysis. QB. 16. Scouting Report. Buffalo Bills

2020 stats: 2,871 yards | 68.4 completion % | 21 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.9 YPA | 78.4 QBR

Last Week: 5

Allen comes off the bye as a top-five quarterback in the FanSided rankings. He’s been excellent and while the turnover-proneness sometimes crops up, he’s been much better. The Bills can go far if Allen plays to his potential.

Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson. 4. player. 10. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB

2020 stats: 2,883 yards | 68.9 completion % | 20 TDs | 5 INTs | 8.5 YPA | 72.9 QBR

Last Week: 4

If Watson played on a pro football team, he’d be talked about as a serious MVP candidate. He utterly destroyed Bill Belichick’s defense on Sunday, and for the season is a good bet for 4,500 yards and 35 touchdowns. It’s incredible considering his circumstances.

QB. Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson. 3. player. 36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 2,986 yards | 70.7 completion % | 30 TDs | 10 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 72.7 QBR

Last Week: 3

Wilson was better on Thursday night, avoiding any turnovers while still launching a pair of touchdowns. Nobody throws a better deep ball and few are so accurate despite continuously going downfield. He’s lost the MVP mantle, but he’s still playing elite football.

Pick Analysis. Green Bay Packers. 2. 49. Scouting Report. QB. Aaron Rodgers. player

2020 stats: 2,889 yards | 68.2 completion % | 29 TDs | 4 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 84.0 QBR

Last Week: 2

Rodgers wasn’t great on Sunday, but most of what ails the Packers stems from their defensive coordinator and the inability to make routine plays around their quarterback. Rodgers went for 311 yards and three touchdowns with an interception, and only hit three passes of 15+ air yards. Not a bad day, but not anything to remember by his standards.

Pick Analysis. Kansas City Chiefs. 1. 124. Scouting Report. QB. Patrick Mahomes. player

2020 stats: 3,035 yards | 67.9 completion % | 27 TDs | 2 INTs | 8.1 YPA | 85.2 QBR

Last Week: 1

Mahomes is the best football player on earth. When he’s finished, he might be the best player in NFL history. His mastery continued on Sunday night with a comeback win over Las Vegas, where he threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns. How great was Mahomes? He went 12-of-19 on throws of 10+ air yards, despite the Raiders dropping into deep zones. It was a clinic.
