2021 NFL Mock Draft: BYU quarterback Zach Wilson enters the top 5

The New England Patriots were beaten by the Houston Texans this past weekend in a matchup that had high hopes going into the season. The Patriots just are not a good team right now, and this offseason, you can expect a lot of changes when it comes to the roster.
At quarterback, Cam Newton has had his moments in his first season in New England, but he is not the long-term answer. If North Dakota State star Trey Lance is available at No. 13, he would be the next franchise quarterback for Bill Belichick, and someone that could end up being a tremendous player at the next level.
The San Francisco 49ers had their bye week in Week 11, getting some well-needed time off after struggling mightily in recent weeks. This is a 49ers team that should finish dead last in what is a very competitive NFC West, especially with guys like Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle sidelined for the foreseeable future.
Upfront on offense, the 49ers need more depth, especially in the interior, and they get some in Creed Humphrey. This is a player who could play center or guard at the next level, and in San Francisco, he would find a place in the starting lineup immediately.
The Denver Broncos pulled off an upset victory on Sunday, as they took care of business against the red-hot Miami Dolphins. For the Broncos, it has been a roller coaster of a season, as they have had to deal with numerous injuries, but they showed good fight last weekend against Tua Tagovailoa and company.
Denver’s defense played exceptionally well, but there are still holes on that side of the ball, including when it comes to depth at edge rusher. Kwity Paye would be a solid addition to a team that already has a star in Bradley Chubb, and if Von Miller returns, that is a dominant trio.
