2021 NFL Mock Draft: BYU quarterback Zach Wilson enters the top 5
By Brad Weiss
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night, as quarterback Tom Brady continued his up and down season for the Bucs. He looks very good some nights, and then very bad on others, and that is alarming as this team tries to make a legitimate run towards the Super Bowl.
While the defense is terrific, they need younger edge rushers on the roster, and they can get a good one here at No. 22 in Penn State’s Jayson Oweh. The Nittany Lions are terrible this season, but Oweh is a bright spot and would be an excellent addition to this exciting Buccaneers defense.
The Indianapolis Colts pulled off a stunner of a victory on Sunday, as, while they were the favorites in the game, nobody really expected them to win. When the Green Bay Packers got out to a big halftime lead, it appeared to be over, but Philip Rivers rallied his team back, and the Colts are a legitimate playoff team with him under center.
In front of Rivers, there is loads of talent on the offensive line, but they do need some reinforcements at offensive tackle. They get some in the form of Samuel Cosmi, the second-best pure offensive tackle in this draft class, and someone who is going to be a mauler at the next level.
For all the noise and chatter around the Cleveland Browns this season, they have kept their heads down and won football games, and find themselves sitting at 7-3 this season. This past weekend, they won an ugly game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it is only wins that matter, and they are currently a playoff team.
On defense, they should bring in more help in the secondary, specifically at cornerback opposite Denzel Ward. Jaycee Horn is a cornerback that should land in the first round, and he could start right away on this Browns defense, giving the team more young depth.
