Running Back: Clyde Edwards-Helaire $6,700

Again, fantasy players should be going heavy on the Chiefs-Bucs matchup. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has not lived up to the hype he had coming into the season, but things are starting to pick up. Le’Veon Bell has not pilfered his carries like some thought he would. He had a huge day against the Las Vegas Raiders, putting up his first 20-point performance of the season.

There is a chance that the Chiefs completely avoid the run game because Andy Reid has always been about strategy. The Bucs run defense is insane, but Helaire is about so much more than just the run game. He can make his day with a few convenient passes.

Mahomes is expected to see pressure from the front four, which is the one way to really make him look to his outlet option. In this situation, Edwards-Helaire is going to get multiple looks.

The other running backs in this area are just too big of a risk. Jonathan Taylor has been a bigger disappointment than Edwards-Helaire. Kareem Hunt ruined lineups for many players last week. Melvin Gordon has two really good games that are skewing the averages, but overall he’s not worth the risk. Edwards-Helaire at least has a guaranteed output every week. The Chiefs offense will give him plenty of opportunities to score in this game.

Other Options: James Robinson $7,400, Josh Jacobs $8,000
