Start:

Kenyan Drake, ARI, @ NE

It’s been a real hit or miss year for Kenyan Drake this season, who was a top-two round pick in all drafts this season. But if you have him rostered at this point, rolling him out there should be no problem vs. the New England Patriots.

They have struggled through the run a lot of the season and this could be a real back and forth game if the defenses let up as we expect. Drake should record at least one touchdown in this one. Start’em up.

Duke Johnson, HOU, @ DET (Thu.)

Duke Johnson has filled in solidly for the injured David Johnson the past two weeks and will fill in again on Thanksgiving day. Expect him to be an RB2 against a Detroit Lions defense that is continuously gashed for massive chunks of yards every single week. This could and should be a shootout.

David Montgomery, CHI, @ GB

David Montgomery has been injured and could have used the bye week to get healthy and make his return for the Bears.

If so, the Green Bay Packers present a chance to have his best game of the season. They let the struggling Jonathan Taylor run all over them last week for 90 yards, so there’s no reason Montgomery can’t do around the same.

Sit:

James Conner, PIT, vs. BAL

It has been an interesting season for James Conner. He developed into a top 10 running back through the first half of the season and has since cooled off dramatically to the point where many wondered if they should start him anymore.

With Anthony MacFarland and Benny Snell continuously eating into his work and Baltimore getting healthy, benching Conner could be best for your team if you plan to win.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, KC, @ TB

This one is bold. But sometimes the boldest of decisions can lead to the most success. Sitting Clyde Edwards-Helaire vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in the best of interest considering how dominant the Bucs have been against the run. We know you have to start him, but buyers beware when it comes to “Glyde.”

Kallen Ballage, LAC, @ BUF

Kalen Ballage has reinvigorated his career with his time with the Los Angeles Chargers to the point that he will probably get a contract next season to be an option on any offense. The only bad thing for him the rest of this season is that Austin Ekeler is going to be back and take back his job. That could be this week, but either way, we recommend finding other options over the “Ballage Barrage.”
