Seattle Seahawks (7-3) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-6-1), 8:15 pm

Seahawks: A season ago, Pete Carroll’s club won in Philadelphia twice, including a tilt in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs, and both times by a 17-9 score. This season, the fewest points allowed by the Seahawks in any game came last Thursday night in the 28-21 triumph over the visiting Cardinals. In that contest, Seattle’s much-maligned defensive unit held Arizona to a season-low 57 yards rushing – quite a feat considering the Cards had reached the century mark on the ground in each of their first nine games. And after running for a combined 170 yards in the back-to-back losses to the Bills and Rams, Carroll’s ground attack rolled up 165 yards in the prime time win.

Eagles: Fifth-year quarterback Carson Wentz continues to be generous when it comes to giving away the football, throwing two more interceptions – one returned for a touchdown – in Sunday’s 22-17 loss at Cleveland. Doug Pederson’s club has turned over the football 20 times in 10 games and Wentz has 18 of those miscues courtesy of 14 picks and six lost fumbles. In fact, the only other player on the team that have given up the football is running back Miles Sanders with a pair of lost fumbles. But these Birds are also facing the league’s worst pass defense and a Seattle club that has allowed 33 offensive touchdowns and at least 21 points in each of their 10 games this year.
