Early college football DFS picks November 28: Rebel yell

College football DFS quarterback picks November 28:
Top Tier:
Both Mississippi State and Kentucky have had solid defenses for much of the year. I still think that both Matt Corral and Kyle Trask have good games, but the ceiling is lower for both of them. With a lot of elite options on this slate, I’m not sure you need to settle if only using one lineup.
Part of me thinks that Trevor Lawrence is going to be wired for this game. Pitt’s defense is pretty good, but if Clemson comes out firing, Pitt is in trouble. This is a good GPP spot.
Maryland’s defense has been a sore spot even though the offense has looked pretty good. Michael Penix has as high a ceiling as anyone on this slate and he’s $1,300 less than Corral.
Auburn’s defense has been pretty good this year, but that wont do much against Mac Jones. I really like the price on Jones here. He doesn’t have a massive ceiling like Fields or Penix, but it’s high enough for this price range.
Middle Tier:
Part of me thinks that Taulia Tagovailoa is a product of playing the poor defenses of Penn State and Minnesota. Northwestern absolutely dominated him, but that was also in his first game with a new team with little practice time with them. His output against Indiana should be somewhere in between. That’s a decent return for the price, but I don’t think his ceiling is where the last couple of games would indicate.
I have some interest in Bailey Hockman after seeing what Cunningham did to the Orange last week. Hockman isn’t the same player as Cunningham, but there is some upside here for a low price. However, I prefer Phil Jurkovec against Louisville. That defense can he had.
Michigan fans can thank Cade McNamara for the win against Rutgers. He threw four touchdowns in relief of Milton and it would be crazy for him not to start here. He has very good upside against Penn State. There will be growing pains again, but we could get a big score for a low price.
There is upside for whichever Penn State quarterback draws the start against Michigan. The struggles of will Levis allowed Sean Clifford to get in against Iowa and he was the better quarterback. Levis will still get some run, but Penn State’s best change to get a win is with Clifford. I know….I can’t believe I’m saying that either.
Bargain Shoppers:
This is another good spot for Spencer Sanders if he is cleared to play. He likely had a concussion against Oklahoma last week so it’s not a given that he’ll play. This is a nice bargain for a guy that can put up numbers like he can. Of course, the caveat is if he can stay in the game. Sanders has exited two of the five games early this year because of injury.
We all know what Peyton Ramsey is capable of from his time at Indiana. He isn’t doing everything by himself this year, but he’s still putting up good numbers. Enter a bad Michigan State defense and this could be a nice payoff for Ramsey.
Will Rogers, airport, cowboy, or football player? $6000 is cheap for the airport and the cowboy. It may be for the football player as well. This Ole Miss defense continues to struggle. He’s worth a GPP dart here even though he hasn’t hit the 20 fantasy point threshold yet.
If you want to dig deeper in the QB pool, Terry Wilson is an interesting punt. This Florida defense isn’t what you’re used to. There is decent upside for the price. If you need to go even lower, Dylan Markiewicz may be starting at minimum price if Morgan is out. Morgan is a solid play if he’s in, but Markiewicz is a better value if he winds up starting.
