College football DFS running back picks November 28:

Top Tier:

Najee Harris hasn’t had under 20 fantasy points in a game all season. Auburn wont be the team that holds him under it either. Harris doesn’t have massive upside, but he has a great floor. Harris should be the linchpin of all cash lineups.

We saw a different Travis Etienne with Lawrence out. Both Boston College and Notre Dame decided they were going to give max effort to stop Etienne in the run game. He only had 112 rushing yards over the two games. However, he had 15 receptions for 227 yards in that span too. Etienne is always a solid play.

Middle Tier:

The Mississippi State run defense has been surprisingly good. They have only allowed four touchdowns in seven games on the ground. I much prefer a healthy Chuba Hubbard as cheap as he is. LD Brown looks appetizing out of that backfield as well. The Cowboys may be forced to rely heavily on the run game.

It was tough sledding for Dillon Johnson against Georgia, but he still managed to get in the end zone twice. We know that a Mike Leach running back relies on catches passes out of the backfield for production and Johnson is no different. He has a nice floor due to the PPR. If he can rack up 25 DraftKIngs points on Georgia, I have no issues using him against Ole Miss.

Sometimes the NC State defense is good. Most of the time it’s not. Sean Tucker is a solid play, but so long as this offense continues to struggle, Tucker has a low ceiling.

Bargain Shoppers:

Don’t be too excited about Keyvone Lee’s recent production. He has two touchdowns on 12 carries over the last two weeks. This backfield is still a committee, and Michigan’s run defense hasn’t been the problem. Look elsewhere.

It does seem like Johnson has surpassed Jo’quavious Marks as the lead back for Mississippi State after Kylin Hill opted out. Marks will still get some action though, which makes him an interesting punt.

I’m big on Stevie Scott here. His price is down due to Ohio State shutting him down, but he has a sweet matchup here. This game plan should suit Scott very well this week and those of us who run him.

Drake Anderson is a big risk, but there is potential for the Northwestern backfield against Michigan State. Even so, I still prefer LD Brown or Snoop Conner over everyone and the Kentucky backfield has loads of potential against Florida. I’d go Rose over Smoke, but it’s close.
