For everyone hoping to see the Darnold-Tagovailoa showdown, that will have to wait until next year. However, don’t sleep on Fitzpatrick, as he’s been playing some fantastic football this season. When the Dolphins benched him in favor of their rookie quarterback, many were surprised, especially since the veteran had been playing so well.

Fitzpatrick will have another chance to silence his doubters on Sunday. For the Jets, Darnold will be returning to the gridiron for the first time since a 35-9 loss to the Chiefs on Nov. 1. We’ll see if Darnold can help New York capture its first win of the campaign.
