The team was home for a second straight week and took on a Saints’ team that brought a seven-game winning streak into this interconference match-up.

Vic Fangio’s club was forced to start Kendall Hinton at quarterback after COVID-19 issues sidelined their other four signal-callers (via ESPN’s Jeff Legwold). Hardly a surprise, the young performer would connect on only one of his nine throws and the limited Denver offense managed only 112 yards.

Raheem Morris’ club failed to score a touchdown in last Sunday’s loss at New Orleans and looked to get back on track against the visiting Raiders. And the team rebounded in a big way via a 37-point victory.

This time, it was the other team that failed to reach the end zone as the Falcons allowed six points and forced five turnovers. Atlanta’s pass rush came up with five sacks and linebacker Deion Jones returned a Derek Carr interception 67 yards for a TD.

The Houston offense rolled up 384 total yards on 50 plays. Wideout Will Fuller caught six passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns. The Texans’ first TD came on a 19-yard interception return by end J.J. Watt.
