Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 9. team. 48. . 7-5

The Buccaneers fell at home for the second time in seven days and once again via a 27-24 score. Quarterback Tom Brady started slow but wound up throwing for 345 yards and three scores. But he also served up two more interceptions that proved to be crucial.

But the real culprit was a disappointing Tampa Bay defense that allowed a whopping 543 total yards and had no answers for Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wideout Tyreek Hill.

53. . 8-3. Previous: . Cleveland Browns. 8. team

Off a three-game home stand, Kevin Stefanski’s club headed south to Jacksonville. And the Browns wound up dealing with a stubborn Jaguars’ club rolled up 375 total yards. But Baker Mayfield and Cleveland’s offense was even better as the club rolled up 207 yards on the ground – most of that by Nick Chubb (144, 1 touchdown).

Mayfield threw for 258 yards and two scores. The franchise clinched its first non-losing campaign since 2007.

. 7-3. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 7. team. 36

The Seahawks come off their most complete game of the season in holding off the Arizona Cardinals on a Thursday night in the Pacific Northwest.

And Pete Carroll’s club will take the field on Monday night in Philadelphia atop the NFC West after both the Cardinals and Rams lost games via field goals on the final play of the contest. Seattle’s running game must come up big like it did vs. Arizona in an effort to keep the team’s shaky defense off the field.
