2020 NFL power rankings, Week 13: Titans roll, Raiders humbled
The Bills were back at home after a week off and took on the disappointing Chargers. And while Sean McDermott’s club opened up a 24-6 lead in the third quarter, the AFC East leaders were sloppy in the second half via three turnovers in the final two quarters.
But Buffalo would hold on for a 10-point win and the team’s ground game came up big as Devin Singletary (1 lost fumble) ran 11 times for 82 yards. The Bills would gain 172 yards rushing.
In Week 10 on a Thursday night at Nashville, the Titans fell to the Colts by 17 points. Now the club made its way to Indianapolis where Mike Vrabel’s club won a year ago. And the Titans rolled up 35 points and 346 total yards in taking a 21-point lead at halftime.
Derrick Henry reached the end zone three times in the first half and finished the day with 178 yards on the ground. Vrabel’s club played turnover-free ball and amassed 449 total yards in the win.
It was the first meeting of the season with the rival Bears as the clubs clashed in prime time. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and outside linebacker Preston Smith returned a fumble 14 yards for a score in the first half– as Matt LaFleur’s club owned a 24-point second-quarter lead.
Rodgers finished with four scores, Green Bay would own a 41-10 third-quarter advantage and played turnover-free football for the seventh time in 11 contests.

Sean Payton’s first-place club took its seven-game winning streak to the Mile High City and made easy very work of the undernamed Broncos.
New Orleans went with Taysom Hill at quarterback for the second straight game and he threw for 78 yards and one interception. But he also ran 10 times for 44 yards and a pair of scores. All told, the Saints rolled up 229 yards on the ground – the majority of that via Latavius Murray (124), who also scored twice.
Mike Tomlin’s undefeated team was dealing with some of its own issues regarding COVID-19 and as of this writing, the team’s clash with the rival Ravens was still scheduled for Tuesday night at Heinz Field.
Pittsburgh entered Week 12 allowing the fewest points in the league per game while leading the NFL in sacks and takeaways. Veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has had quite the year, throwing 24 touchdown passes and just five interceptions.
The reigning champs were on the road for the second consecutive game as the club headed to Tampa for the first time since 2012.
And the Chiefs ran their current winning streak to six games and including last season’s playoff run, own a 19-1 overall record in their last 20 games. Patrick Mahomes was sacked twice and lost a fumble. But he also threw for 462 yards and three TDs – all to Tyreek Hill – who finished with 13 grabs for a whopping 269 yards.
