College football DFS running back picks December 3:

Top Tier:

Air Force finally has their running back. Brad Roberts was an absolute monster against New Mexico after Jackson was unavailable. He was very good in mop up duty against Navy as well, but Roberts proved to be everything Air Force needs in a back. He ran 27 times for 177 yards and three scores against the Lobos.

Middle Tier:

Wait….North Texas has a running back? Who knew? Oscar Adaway went over 100 rushing yards for the third time in four games played this year against UTSA, even in the blowout loss. The unsettled quarterback situation actually looks good for Adaway. He should get more carries against a Louisiana Tech team that allowed 167.6 rushing yards per game and 15 touchdowns on the ground in seven games.

Justin Henderson opted out, so at least we know who the lead back for Louisiana Tech is. It will be Israel Tucker, and it comes at a great time for him. Sincere McCormick gutted the North Texas defense last week. Now, Tucker isn’t the back that McCormick is, but I expect him to have his first triple digit yardage game of the season here.

Bargain Shoppers:

We may have seen a shift away from Deandre Torrey against UTSA. Adaway was finding holes where Torrey wasn’t. Torrey is still going to get some work, so I don’t mind him as a punt. Just don’t expect the numbers that he was putting up earlier in the year.

Devonta’e Henry-Cole is underpriced here since Jaylen Warren didn’t officially enter the transfer portal until today. DHC is now the lead back for the Aggies, but he has a bear of a matchup awaiting him. This is not a good fantasy spot for any Utah State players, but DHC’s low price makes him a suitable GPP punt.

If you’re really brave, Pailate Makakona is minimum price and DHC is not a sure thing. There’s a chance that Makakona takes the job or himself
