DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

There aren’t a ton of high-priced players on this slate, but the middle tier is relatively packed. I like Nemanja Nedovic here, but the higher floor of Sergio Rodriguez makes him more suitable for cash games. The ceiling on Nedovic makes him a good GPP target.

Peyton Siva started a little slowly, but he seems to be getting back to where he was last year. If he were to develop a consistent shot, Siva could be one of the better fantasy options in the EuroLeague. As of now, he’s one of the league’s elite passers and good defender which still gives him a good floor. He’ll occasionally have a game where he scores higher than normal. That’s where the true potential is.

With as well as Howard Sant-Roos is playing, I think it’s hard to get a ceiling game out of Nedovic. For that reason, I’d rather use Sant-Roos and fade the top all together. The only problem with that is that Sant-Roos is priced high enough that if he nets a sub-20 fantasy score, it will really hurt our lineups.

Norris Cole missed most of November, but he came back strong playing his normal amount of minutes and taking his normal amount of shots in round 11. The potential here is higher than everyone else in the middle tier.

I don’t know how much upside that Jayson Granger has, but he’s a great cash game option right now. Granger has between 18-24 fantasy points in all but three games and hasn’t been below 15 all season.

Both Kevin Punter and Malcolm Delaney have played well since their returns. The ceiling for Punter seems to be a touch higher. So far they have played well with Rodriguez without taking away much of his production, but this feels like a volatile situation. If they run into a team that is tough on guards, it could be difficult. That isn’t the case here though. Both Punter and Delaney are good options for the price.

Maodo Lo continues to be a very good bench contributor most games for Berlin. However, he does little outside of score. The floor is low if his shots aren’t dropping.

There could be a few more opportunities for Marcus Foster with the status of Shevlin Mack up in the air, but I wouldn’t bet on it. The starters are playing so well that it doesn’t leave much scraps for the bench.

The lowest value play I would trust at guard is Allerik Freeman. Freeman has at least 17 DraftKings points in three of the last four rounds. The issue is in the one game that he missed that mark, he had just 4.25. That’ll destroy a lineup quickly.
