Another basketball game, another example of Duke basketball getting favorable calls.

You are not going to believe the call Duke basketball got away with vs. Michigan State basketball.

Early in the first half of the No. 6 Duke Blue Devils vs. the No. 8 Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday night, Duke’s Jalen Johnson tried to go baseline on a reverse on Michigan State’s Julius Marble. As you can see by the following video, Johnson clearly stepped out of bounds while trying to get past Marble. Because it was Duke, the referee swallowed the whistle, allowing the basket.

It is two feet out of bounds to be out of bounds, right?

It may have been nine months ago we were watching college hoops, but we did not forget the rules too bad. It does not matter what sport you play, if part of your body goes out of bounds, especially your foot, you are out of bounds. That is what Johnson did and got away with. The video does not lie. This should have been a turnover and not two points for the home team Blue Devils.

Michigan State has to beat Duke and the referees in this battle of basketball blue-bloods.
