Start:

Taysom Hill, NO, @ ATL

Taysom Hill has not been an elite passer by any means in his first two starts of his career, but he has been an impressive runner, recording two rushing touchdowns in each of the past two games. With a matchup vs. Atlanta on the horizon, the same team he made his first start against, he should shine both through the air and on the ground. He’s a low-end QB1 in what could be his final start.

Derek Carr, LV, @ NYJ

Derek Carr was supposed to be an excellent starting option for teams last week. He instead hit many with the dud of the season, recording four turnovers against the Falcons. We are willing to double down, however, as the New York Jets presents an even brighter opportunity for Carr to shine. It makes sense if you don’t believe it, but this is one that could see Carr go crazy. Especially if Josh Jacobs can’t suit up.

Sit:

Cam Newton, NE, @ LAC

There’s no plausible reason to start Cam Newton in fantasy football any longer. His play has not been spectacular and he’s not one to trust with much better options out there. A matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers should be a welcome one, but who knows what version of Newton fantasy owners will get. Sit him down, or better yet, cut him.

Jared Goff, LAR, @ ARI

It’s been a tale of two Jared Goff’s the past two weeks. One week he looked unstoppable and back to the form he was in during the 2018 season. The other was more 2019 version, looking rather awful when facing the San Francisco 49ers. Goff should not be in lineups this week, barely ranking as a top 20 quarterback play for this week.
