24. player. 123. QB. Andy Dalton. Dallas Cowboys. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 870 yards | 65.1 completion % | 5 TDs | 5 INTs | 5.7 YPA | 48.5 QBR

Last Week: 25

Dalton threw one short pass after the next against Washington, and the Cowboys were blown out. The veteran isn’t inspiring plenty of confidence, failing to stretch the field despite having CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper at his disposal.

Pick Analysis. Ryan Fitzpatrick. 23. player. 59. Scouting Report. QB. Miami Dolphins

2020 stats: 1,909 yards | 68.5 completion % | 12 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 73.7 QBR

Last Week: NA

FitzMagic rides again! With Tua Tagovailoa nursing a thumb injury, Fitzpatrick got the start against the Jets and threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns, spreading the ball around effectively. With the Harvard man, it’s always the same thing. If he avoids turnovers, he’s effective.

Washington Football Team. 22. 58. Pick Analysis. QB. Alex Smith. player. Scouting Report

2020 stats: 1,067 yards | 69.0 completion % | 3 TDs | 5 INTs | 6.9 YPA | 40.0 QBR

Last Week: 22

Smith is a phenomenal story. However, the play hasn’t matched up with Washington’s needs. Thus far, he’s completing short throws but making too many mistakes. Considering he doesn’t have a track record of turnovers, it could well be a case of rust.

QB. Cam Newton. 47. New England Patriots. 21. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 1,984 yards | 66.9 completion % | 4 TDs | 9 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 50.6 QBR

Last Week: 19

Newton went for 84 passing yards and two interceptions, and somehow New England beat Arizona. The year has been a bust for both quarterback and team, the struggles across the board. Newton isn’t throwing the ball well, and he has nobody to throw at. Bad combo.

Daniel Jones. Scouting Report. QB. New York Giants. Pick Analysis. 20. player. 31

2020 stats: 2,335 yards | 63.2 completion % | 8 TDs | 9 INTs | 6.5 YPA | 67.2 QBR

Last Week: 20

We debated putting Colt McCoy in the rankings, but since Jones could play on Sunday, here we are. Before leaving with a hamstring injury, the second-year man was decent against Cincinnati, throwing for 213 yards. However, no turnovers for a second straight start. Encouraging.

Cleveland Browns. Baker Mayfield. 19. player. 53. Pick Analysis. QB. Scouting Report

2020 stats: 2,108 yards | 61.2 completion % | 17 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.2 YPA | 68.8 QBR

Last Week: 18

Mayfield was a mixed bag in Jacksonville. The Heisman winner threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns, including 8-of-12 with two scores on throws of 10+ air yards. However, there was also the worst throw in NFL history at the goal line, brought to us by equally horrific footwork.
