College football DFS quarterback picks December 4:

Top Tier:

Levi Lewis hasn’t been worth the price nearly all season on the college football DFS slates that have included him. This is no different. He’s not Grayson McCall and he’s not playing behind the CCU line. Lewis went nuts on Monroe and Texas State, but neither of them are anywhere close to the Mountaineer defense. This feels like a trap.

Middle Tier:

Don’t be discouraged by Zac Thomas’s subpar performance against CCU. Lewis wasn’t good against them either. Thomas followed that up with one of his best performances of the season against Troy last week. Don’t expect a ceiling game from Thomas, but I would expect him to outperform Lewis here.

That’s important because Hank Bachmeier wont need to have a big game against UNLV. It is worth noting that Boise will be down their second and third string QB’s, but they wouldn’t mind getting Cade Fennegan some work when this gets out of hand. And it will. Both Lewis and Thomas have higher ceilings than Bachmeier, but his floor may be the best at the position.

Bargain Shoppers:

That leaves the UNLV debacle at QB for value. Yuck! Max Gilliam starts but doesn’t always play well and has a pretty short leash. He held his own against Wyoming though. Well enough that he may be worth a dart for the savings here if you really need it.
