Tight End: Evan Engram $6,000

The New York Giants offense is going to look completely different with Colt McCoy under center. Daniel Jones hurt his calf, and some reports say it could be significant. That’s bad news for the first-place Giants (gross) as they try to hold onto the NFC East lead. To do that, the team’s weapons have to step up.

One player that’s been stepping up as of late is tight end Evan Engram. He scored the second-most points for a tight end last week with a 129-yard performance. He should be able to keep it going against a Seahawks defense that still has some holes. They allowed Dallas Goedert to catch seven balls for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Engram might get some double teams this week, but a decent game plan by head coach Joe Judge and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett should be able to alleviate anything the Seahawks can do. Engram is a great talent at a position that’s devoid of talent. If Engram can even get you ten points on a weekly basis, he’s well worth whatever price he has.

This position is such a mess that any player that’s doing remotely well needs consideration. There’s no George Kittle the rest of the season. There’s no Travis Kelce since he’s playing on national television. Rob Gronkowski’s Buccaneers are on a bye this week. It’s a down week for a tight end position that’s had a down season. Engram makes the most sense, especially at the price point.

Other Options: Goedert $6,200, Robert Tonyan $5,900
