We certainly didn’t forget about Henry throughout the last month, but his candidacy did take a subtle hit when the Titans dropped games to the Bengals and Colts. Dalvin Cook also surfaced as the league’s top halfback, if only for a few weeks. The Vikings tailback took a break from the MVP race when his team coughed away a victory to the lowly Dallas Cowboys.

Henry is back, although he never really left. He leads the NFL in rushing yards and is third in total touchdowns scored. Most importantly, the Titans are 8-3 atop the AFC South. Tennessee abused its foes, the Colts, in Week 12 to the tune of a 45-26 pounding. The win served as quick redemption because the Colts did the same thing to the Titans just two weeks ago.

The Titans are heading back to the postseason — after some folks considered them a 2017 Jaguars-like team. Instead, Tennessee has replicated its 2019 success and is in the driver’s seat in the AFC North.

Henry is the lifeblood of the Titans and deserves your MVP consideration.
