1. Sanders rebounds for an RB1-type game against Green Bay

The Philadelphia Eagles put on a dastardly offensive (both senses of the word) display against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Reports predicted that rookie signal-caller Jalen Hurts would get in the mix, but that turned out to be weirdly symbolic. Carson Wentz was totally inept, the offensive line was cringeworthy, and nothing went right for Philadelphia until garbage time was presented.

Doug Pederson’s bunch probably will not improve to the point of winning the underperforming NFC East division. The Eagles flat-out do not seem to have efficient offensive football in their DNA during 2020. And, if they did plan a rejuvenation, traveling to Green Bay is not a good spot for an opening ceremony.

However, the Packers are awful vs. opposing running backs. They surrender 23.5 PPR points per game to tailbacks — third-worst in the NFL. That is particularly odd because the Packers have a serious chance to secure a first-round bye. But they do not stop the run from a fantasy standpoint.

Sanders will get on track, but that does equal an Eagles victory. Start Sanders, nevertheless.
