The Vikings will finally get back to .500. Imagine if they had taken care of business against the Cowboys. We’d be looking at Minnesota as a 7-5 team on a major roll. Alas, what could have been. Meanwhile, Jacksonville continues to roll towards landing Justin Fields in April’s draft.

Pick: Minnesota 34, Jacksonville 19

The Raiders were thoroughly pounded on Sunday in a 43-6 loss to the Falcons. Now, they get the world’s best tonic by drawing the Jets in a must-win situation. Make no mistake, Las Vegas either handles business here or goes into oblivion until September. Of course, there’s no reason to believe the Jets do anything but roll over once more.

Pick: Las Vegas 31, New York 17

Atlanta is the first team to get a second crack at Taysom Hill. Now, is that enough for the Falcons to pull off the upset? Maybe. After all, Hill was atrocious in Denver. Still, the Saints are on an eight-game win streak, and until they lose, picking against them is a fool’s game.

Pick: New Orleans 23, Atlanta 20
