College football rankings 2020: Week 15 projected AP Top 25
Projected Week 15 AP Top 25 sees Alabama and Notre Dame strengthen their case as the top teams in the new college football rankings.
Conference championship game bids are being secured, playoff spots are being earned and there is still plenty of room for upsets in college football that alter the newest AP Top 25. The college football rankings should welcome four new teams after losses by Wisconsin, Marshall, Oregon and Washington. Oklahoma State also lost among ranked teams, but the Pokes should cling to a spot in the Week 15 AP Top 25. Just barely though.
There weren’t any big upsets, however, at the top of the Top 25 where Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson and Ohio State all prevailed and should once again occupy the top four spots in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.
Texas A&M and Florida held court to keep their playoff dreams alive with the Gators clinched the SEC East and a game vs. Alabama in the SEC Championship Game where a win gets them in.
The biggest loss came from 9-0 BYU who fell to now-10-0 Coastal Carolina after the Cougars were stopped at the one-yard line as their comeback attempt fell three feet shy.
