8. Giovanni Bernard (CIN)

Game: Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 12/6, 1:00 pm EST)

Joe Mixon is out until next week when your playoffs are in full effect. That does not help you this week. But Giovanni Bernard might.

We are not wild about this choice, but sleepers are slim pickings at the moment. The Dolphins surrender 17 PPR points per game to running backs, which is slightly below average. Without Joe Burrow, the Bengals may run the ball more. Go with Bernard in a pinch.

9. Wayne Gallman (NYG)

Game: New York Giants at Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 12/6, 4:05 pm EST)

Seattle’s defense has played well during the last two weeks. So has Wayne Gallman.

The Giants are in the chase for a division title. The Seahawks are, too. Quarterback Daniel Jones in injured, so Colt McCoy will likely be the team’s starter. He’s not a prolific passer, and the Giants will seek yardage on the ground. Gallman should net 10-15 fantasy points.

10. James White (NE)

Game: New England Patriots at Los Angeles Chargers (Sunday, 12/6, 4:25 pm EST)

With Rex Burkhead out indefinitely, Cam Newton (like his predecessor, Tom Brady) has turned to James White as the team’s pass-catching running back. That will continue in Los Angeles.

White caught 10 passes in the last two weeks. The yardage was not humongous, but the targets are evident. Start White in hopes he will score two weeks in a row.
