Young Heat star Bam Adebayo gave his mom the ultimate gift for the holidays.

Bam Adebayo took his game to a whole new level for the Miami Heat this past season. He became an All-Star, averaged over 17 points per game in the playoffs, and was rewarded with a new contract.

This extension is reportedly worth up to $195 million over five years as the Heat wanted to reward the 23-year-old and make him a focal point moving forward. Adebayo’s future is secure and he decided to surprise his mother this holiday season after signing his new deal.

Adebayo gives back to mom

It is hard not to find joy in such situations. The Heat forward has already shared on social media how he struggled growing up. Now him and his mom no longer have to worry.

Adebayo was taken No. 14 overall by the Heat in 2017 and got off to a slow start over his first two seasons. Then came 2019-20 when he averaged a double-double and was a key reason why the Heat advanced all the way to the NBA Finals.

His stock is on the rise and he is young enough to where he could still be in line for another mega-deal in his career. But most importantly, he has secured what is likely an amazing house for his mom and can rest easy knowing she is doing well.

The crazy thing is we still haven’t seen the best from Adebayo yet. Sticking with his 2019-20 pace should mean he is a perennial All-Star and a regular on All-Defensive teams.

But perhaps the best thing he has done so far is getting this house for his mom. That will be a tough feat to top.
