The confidence for the New York Giants has to be through the roof right now after they stunned the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Where in the world did the New York Giants come from? In Week 13, the Giants stunned the NFL world as a whole, taking down the Seattle Seahawks for a massive road victory. Keep in mind, Daniel Jones was out due to injury, so this was a New York team led by Colt McCoy.

Still, the defense looked sensational and made Russell Wilson look like an average signal-caller. The Giants sent a clear message with their win, and it’s that they will be ready to surprise even more teams in the postseason if they end up winning the NFC East.

No team will want to play the New York Giants in the playoffs next month

What makes this New York team so dangerous right now has to be its defense. Holding Seattle to only 12 points is one thing, but the pressure Leonard Williams and the rest of the line was able to put on him was unreal. Wilson was running for his life throughout the game and was forced into making several early throws. Don’t forget about his two turnovers either.

As the game went on, the Giants played with more and more confidence. Even on the broadcast, you could hear them screaming their heads off and celebrating in style after a big play. The noise only got louder in the second half, with the offense and defense stepping up.

Despite being 5-7, this team has what it takes to record another upset in the postseason if they end up making it. What we saw on Seattle was a scary team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. If they can play that way against the Seahawks, don’t be surprised to see them do it again in Week 14. Once Daniel Jones is healthy too, the offense will only get stronger.

Trust us, you don’t want to play the G-Men in January. They’re the kind of team that could send you home early if you’re not too careful.
